Runic is deliberately light on cookies. We use one strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and nothing else — no analytics, no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party cookies or scripts. Because the only cookie we set is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, consent is not required under GDPR/ePrivacy or KVKK, and there is no banner to click through. We still tell you exactly what runs.
| Name | Purpose | Category | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| runic_session | Keeps you signed in after login. httpOnly (script can't read it), SameSite=Lax, Secure. | Strictly necessary | 30 days cleared on sign-out | First-party |
Guest mode (“Try it without an account”) and your editor preferences use your browser's localStorage, not cookies — that data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
The session cookie only exists while you're signed in — sign out and it's gone. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; if you block the session cookie you simply won't be able to stay signed in. The panel below manages the one-time notice you saw.
If we ever introduce a non-essential cookie (for example optional analytics), we will add an explicit opt-in here before it runs — off by default. Questions: info@odeontech.com.
